Today we will see how to set your Facebook Shop to boost your fashion business.

Sell on Facebook Shop

On Facebook Shop you can make available our catalog on your Facebook business page and so users can easily see, buy and share your products.

There is no additional cost to use Facebook Shop. You can also count on the largest social community in the world. Users from evry ages spend at least 50 minutes a day using Facebook. The sheer size of the network — coupled with the level of engagement by its users — makes it an ideal marketplace to promote your products and raise brand awareness.

Chek-out on Facebook

This type of shop lets customers buy directly from your shop section without leaving your Page. Here’s how to add a Check Out on Facebook shop to your Page:

 

  1. On your Page, click the Shop tab. If you don’t see the Shop tab, follow these steps to add it.
  2. Read and check the I agree to the Merchant Terms and Policies box, then click Continue. You may be prompted to reenter your Facebook password for security purposes.
  3. Choose Check Out on Facebook and click Continue.
  4. Enter your business’s address and email address.
  5. To use separate emails to communicate with customers and get updates from us and the payment processors Stripe or PayPal, uncheck the Use this email address for customer service inquiries box and enter a customer service email address.
  6. Choose to set up your shop with either PayPal or Stripe. If you choose PayPal, click Connect with PayPal to log in or sign up. If you already have a PayPal account, you’ll need to sign up for a Business account. When finished on the PayPal website, click Submit.
  7. If you already have a Stripe account, click the connect to an existing Stripe account link and follow the steps. If you don’t have a Stripe account, click Submit and follow the steps in the email you get from Stripe.

Tip: If Stripe asks for a company website and you don’t have one, you can enter the URL for the shop section on your Page. For example, facebook.com/[your Page’s username]/shop. Learn about usernames for Pages.

Check Out on Another Website

This type of shop sends people to another website to complete a purchase. Here’s how to add a Check Out on Another Website shop to your Page:

 

  1. On your Page, click the Shop tab. If you don’t see the Shop tab, follow these steps to add it.
  2. If you agree to our Merchant Terms and Policies, check the I agree to the Merchant Terms and Policies box, then click Continue. You may be prompted to reenter your Facebook password for security purposes.
  3. Choose Check Out on Another Website and click Continue. You will include the website when you add products to your shop section.
  4. Choose the currency you want to use. This currency will apply to all your products and can’t be changed unless you delete your shop section and create a new one.
  5. Click Save.

Message to Buy

This type of shop lets customers message you to learn more about your products. Here’s how to add a Message to Buy shop to your Page:

 

  1. On your Page, click the Shop tab. If you don’t see the Shop tab, follow these steps to add it.
  2. If you agree to our Merchant Terms and Policies, check the I agree to the Merchant Terms and Policies box, then click Continue. You may be prompted to reenter your Facebook password for security purposes.
  3. Choose Message to Buy so your customers can message you about products they’re interested in. Then, click Continue.
  4. Choose the currency you want to use. This currency will apply to all your products and can’t be changed unless you delete your shop section and create a new one.
  5. Click Save.

Important: Your shop section will only appear to your customers after you add at least one product and it gets reviewed and approved.

Tip: If you need to take a break from creating your shop, we’ll save your progress. When you return to your Page, click the Finish Setup button to start again from your most recent step.
